Lydia Fonseca recieved her professional training and education from California State University, Fullerton. She offers her clients a strong and varied background, including her experience in clinic settings, and in-home and school based counseling services. She also comes with experience working with children, couples and families.
Additionally, Lydia has facilitated parenting education and adolescent groups and has volunteered for a crisis hotline center and has facilitated The Greenleaf Center Anger Management Program.
Lydia is a licensed under the California Board of Behavioral Sciences.
Dr. Jorge Garcia has over 22 years of experience practicing in a variety of clinical settings, including both inpatient and outpatient settings, working with children, adolescents, and adults. He received his undergraduate education from the University of Southern California and obtained his doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology (Alliant University). Additionally, Dr. Garcia is a Certified EMDR clinician (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), a Certified Anger Management Facilitator (CAMF) and a Qualified Medical Evaluator (QME) for the State of California. He also has extensive experience with psychological testing of learning disabilities, emotional disturbance, assessments for bariatric surgery, employment screening, forensic evaluation, and psychological assessments for immigration court.
His experience has been in a variety of settings as well, including St. Francis Medical Center in Lynwood, California, where he served as a staff psychologist and clinical supervisor, providing in-service training and supervision of doctoral level graduate students. For several years he served as a Behavior Specialist and Clinical Director of mental health services at Leeway School (Aspen Youth Services), a non-public school in Alhambra, California.
Dr. Garcia is an admitted member of the American Psychological Association since 1997 and an Associate member of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapist. He is also frequently called upon to testify as an expert court witness in immigration court proceedings.
